The cottage is located in the heart of ANNE of Green Gables and LM Montgomery country. The driveway to the cottage is the old Cavendish road which Lucy Maud would have used in traveling back and forth from her grandparents. There are many attractions for those interested in ANNE and the author...all very close by if you choose to stay with us.

19 Attends Prince of Wales College and earns First Class Teacher's licence

20 Attends Dalhousie University in Halifax

21 - 26 Teaches in Bideford, Belmont and Lower Bedeque, PEI

27 Works at the Daily Echo newspaper in Halifax

34 Publishes the best selling Anne of Green Gables

35 Publishes the best selling Anne of Avonlea

34 -65 Writes 20 books, all but one of which is based in PEI.
